The Ei100TYC is an ionization smoke alarm designed to react quickly to fast flaming fires. With a sealed 10-year battery, there is no need to replace the battery for the complete lifespan of the unit. Featuring dedicated Test and Hush buttons and the ability to interlink with up to 12 other battery-powered Ei/Aico alarms, this is a great alarm for any house. In order to help mitigate the effects of nuisance alarms, such as those caused by burnt toast, the Ei100TYC will automatically silence and reset itself when it stops detecting smoke during an alarm.
